Baywatch

Baywatch is a spectacular oceanfront cottage, high on a hill, overlooking Blue Hill Bay. The lovely decor, spacious living spaces and wonderful decks make this a delightful and peaceful place to spend your vacation. A wooded path leads down the hill to a small deck overlooking Seal Cove’s tidal estuary, providing excellent swimming and bird watching. Enjoy the screened-in gazebo and shore-side deck area with a good book. NOTE: because of the high decks and terrain of the property, this property is not appropriate for children under 12.

Baywatch has 3 bedrooms (two queens and one full), 3 full baths, with a maximum occupancy of 6. Rates listed below are for 4 guests only.

The first floor (entry floor) features a private master bedroom and bath with separate tub and shower and has water views and a private deck. There is also a queen bedroom with queen, a bedroom with a double bed, and a laundry area.

The second floor has a living room (with sofa bed) and a wet bar. The upper deck off the living room nice views of Seal Cove. There is a very spacious kitchen and dining Area, also with water views, and a propane hearth and stove. Also, a full bath with tub and shower. Ship’s ladder accesses small but serviceable loft area.

Amenities include: several outdoor decks with furnishings, gas BBQ grill and views, dishwasher, washer/dryer,  Satellite TV with DVD, high speed internet.

Baywatch is close to everything Mount Desert Island has to offer, including mountain hiking, bicycling, beaching, boating, whale watching, canoeing (kayak and canoe tours), lake swimming, carriage road walks, horse back riding, wonderful dining, shopping, deep sea fishing! Visit the oceanarium, take a Jackson Lab visitors tour, golf at a PGA top-rated course, play tennis. Kids activities include: water park, petting zoo, miniature golf, beaches, and lots of ice cream/dairy bars!
