House on Derby Lane

The House on Derby Lane offers comfortable accommodations with a terrific in-town Bar Harbor location! This sweet 5 bedroom cottage, in the middle of town, is the perfect place for your family and friends to stay while you enjoy the activities of Acadia National Park and Mount Desert Island. Just a 3 minute walk to the Shore Path, a 2 minute walk to the Village Green (summer weekly band concerts are the best!), 2 miles to the Park Loop Road entrance, and convenient to all the shops and restaurants located in-town. The free Island Explorer Bus can also be boarded at the Village Green. The spacious backyard is ideal for a family touch football game or badminton net. And the quiet neighborhood setting provides a nice getaway when you're looking for relaxation.

The first floor of the House on Derby Lane features a nice spacious living room (with a decorative fireplace, TV, DVD player), kitchen and a dining room. There also is a queen bedroom and a bedroom with two twins, and a full bathroom (with tub).

The second floor features a double bedroom, a bedroom with a double bed and a twin bed, and a third bedroom with a single twin bed. This third bedroom features plenty of room for a crib or pack 'n play (provided, along with "baby gate"). There is also a bathroom with shower on the second floor.

In the finished basement is a fun family room, with TV, DVD player, VCR, wet bar and bumper pool table, as well as lots of movies and family board games!

Amenities at the cottage include a washer/dryer, dishwasher, 5 TVs (with cable), WIFI, charcoal BBQ, outdoor seating and picnic table, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, landline phone, and off-street parking for up to 3 cars.

Bar Harbor provides many enjoyable activities, like whale watching and sea kayak tours, and Acadia National Park is the place for hiking, biking, carriage road walks, beaching, bird watching, swimming and the most beautiful natural mountain and sea vistas in the U.S.

This is Sunday to Sunday rental.
