First Light

This lovely oceanfront property is located in the sweet village of Salsbury Cove, part of the town of Bar Harbor. Enjoy lovely ocean vistas, a private dock and privatebeach area. The waterway in front of the cottage (Frenchman Bay) is great for boating, fishing, kayaking and swimming! And you're just 9 minutes to downtown Bar Harbor; 7 minutes to the main entrance to Acadia National Park's Loop Road and information center.

There is a main cottage and a guest cottage (that can be rented separately) available. The main cottage features a large living room/family room space with a gas fireplace (there's plenty of seating!). The kitchen has all the amenities: dishwasher, microwave, etc. to feed your group of up to 10 guests. There are two bedrooms in the main house: one with a queen and a twin bed, and a second with a queen bed. There is also a daybed with trundle in the living room (two twins). There is a full bath and a 3/4 bath in the main cottage.

The guest cottage has a kitchenette, full bath, living room with sleep futon, and queen bed.

Other amenities include gas BBQ grill, outdoor seating, cable TV (one TV in main cottage living room), DVD player, high speed internet, washer/dryer.

Bring your own power boat and kayaks! Enjoy this wonderful haven on the ocean!

Bar Harbor and Acadia offer visitors lots to do! Hiking, biking, golf, tennis, boating, nature walks, beaching, kayaking, deep sea fishing, whale watching, museums, shopping and, of course, terrific dining choices. The best lobster comes from our shores!

Pets are considered for a $150 pet fee.

Note: the caretaker lives on the premises.
