Mitchell Cove Road

Mitchell Cove Road is a lovely 5-bedroom cottage nestled in the woods, in Bass Harbor. Away from the beaten path, guests will enjoy the splendid nature of Maine, while being just minutes from Acadia National Park. In addition to 8 acres of pristine woods, there is a 10-minute shore path from the cottage to the ocean!

There are 5 bedrooms: 3 queen bedrooms, and 1 room with two twin beds and the 5th bedroom has a single-twin bed. There are 3 bathrooms, spacious fully-modern kitchen, eat-in dining room, and a huge deck with picnic table to enjoy the wonderful yard. Amenities include fireplace, gas BBQ, satellite TV, DVD player, dishwasher, washer/dryer.

Bass Harbor is a wonderful commercial fishing village on the southwest tip of Mount Desert Island. Portions of Acadia National Park are just a couple miles away; Bar Harbor is just 20 minutes away. Close Echo Lake and Long Pond, hiking trails, carriage roads, and much more. Other attractions include: biking, boating, whale watching, canoeing (kayak and canoe tours), lake swimming, horse back riding, wonderful dining, shopping, deep sea fishing! Take the ferry to Swan's Island, shop downtown Southwest Harbor, visit Seawall. Mount Desert Island also offers golf at a PGA top-rated course, and tennis. Kids activities include: water park, petting zoo, miniature golf, beaches, and lots of ice cream/dairy bars!

This is a Sunday to Sunday rental. Sorry, no pets allowed.
