Newly built, this spacious cottage is just around the corner from the Eagle Lake Acadia National Park entrance and has direct access to Acadian Ridge Trail, which links up with carriage and hiking trails in the Park network. If you and your family want easy access to the Park, and enjoy a private peaceful setting, with 2 acres of land, just 4.5 miles out of downtown Bar Harbor, then this is the vacation retreat for you. Centrally located in the center of Mount Desert Island, you'll have easy access to all the Park attractions, and villages like Northeast Harbor, Somesville and Southwest Harbor.

The first floor features a large new kitchen with mountain views and counter with four barstools. Open floor dining and living room overlooking large sliding glass doors onto the expansive front deck (where you can enjoy meals on the outdoor dining table). The indoor dining table seats up to eight. Also on the first floor is a queen bedroom, full bath with tub and shower.

The second floor features the master bedroom with king bed and private full bath and separate shower, a laundry closet, two queen bedrooms that share a bath with shower.

There is also a small front covered porch with swing and large furnished deck with distant mountain views.

Amenities include microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, gas BBQ, cable TV, VCR, DVD, high-speed wireless internet.

Take advantage of all that Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park have to offer, including hiking, biking, boating, whale watching, canoeing (kayak and canoe tours), lake swimming, carriage road walks, horse back riding, wonderful dining, shopping, deep sea fishing! Visit the oceanarium, sail on the Margaret Todd, take a Jackson Lab visitors tour, enjoy tea and popovers at the Jordan Pond House, golf at a PGA top-rated course, play tennis. Kids activities include water park, petting zoo, miniature golf, beaches, and lots of ice cream/dairy bars!
