Quiet Shores

Recently built cottage on the shores of Lamoine, Quiet Shores is a comfortable 4-bedroom/3 bath cottage that enjoys shaded peace and quiet on the shores of Mount Desert Narrows, an estuary into the Western Bay (ocean). Four and half acres of land and 150 feet of shorefrontage, guests will enjoy the varied shoreline and lovely wooded surroundings. The varied shoreline is accessible for fishing, launching a canoe or kayak (though can be a little 'mucky' during low tide!).

The cottage features lovely hardwood floors, and a spacious deck. The bedrooms feature two queen beds (the master bedroom queen is on the first floor with its own full bathroom), a king platform bed, and two twins. There is a 1/2 bathroom on the first floor and a full bathroom on the second floor. The queen bedrooms have lovely ocean views.

Amenities include 2 TVs with cable, DVD player, WIFI, local phone, microwave oven, toaster, coffemaker, charcoal BBQ grill, fully functional kitchen, washer/dryer, dishwasher, cooling fans. There is outdoor dining on the lovely deck, as well. There is also a gas fireplace in the living room.

It's about a 10 minutes to the bridge onto Mount Desert Island, the information center for Acadia National Park, and the Bar Harbor town line. You're also just minutes from the Lamoine State Park Public Beach, a wonderful place to spend the day!

Other activities in the area include swimming, boating, hiking, fishing, sightseeing. And the cottage is readily accessible to golf courses, a water park, miniature golf, horseback riding, petting zoo, and oceanarium!

This is a Sunday to Sunday rental.
