Trail's End Camp

Located on Flanders Pond in the town of Sullivan, just 45 minutes to the bridge onto Mount Desert Island, Trail's End is a cozy, rustic camp right on a beautiful sand beach offering all the fun of a downeast Maine camp experience. You can look forward to swimming and boating in a clean, clear pond. Fish for bass, brook trout, and pickerel. Hike on beautiful mountains or go biking and 4 wheeling on 120 miles of the Sunrise Trail system, all right outside your door.

Trail's End Camp has 2 bedrooms (1 double bed and 2 twin beds). It also has a futon couch in the living area that folds out to a queen bed (camp sleeps up to 6). The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, oven, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. There is satellite TV, DVD, gas BBQ, and a few small electric heaters to take the morning chill off in the spring and fall.  

Sorry, there is no dishwasher, washer/dryer, internet or local phone but there is good cell phone reception. You'll have to rough it a bit more with an outdoor private hot shower and outdoor privy (about 25 feet from the main camp).

Bring your kayaks, rafts, swimsuits, ATVs and fishing pole and enjoy a fun, rustic Maine summer camp with a shared dock, right on the lake. It's away from the busy summer traffic but close enough to enjoy a few days in Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, for hiking, biking, nature walks, whale watching, deep sea fishing, sea kayak tours, museums, shopping and dining!
